Heartbreak and Beauty

On February 21st 2015, Bus Stop Films launched the experimental film Heartbreak and Beauty to a packed cinema of 360 guests. The students of Bus Stop Films who made the film were treated to a pamper session prior to the premiere, that included getting a massage, hair styling and make up. Furthermore, students involved in making our 2012 film The Interviewer were also invited along to receive the awards that the film had won across 2013 and 2014. We had a total of 24 awards to give out to our students that night, including awards from major film festivals such as Cleveland International and Short Shorts Film Festival and Asia. We also had the honour of having a keynote speech from His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d)
Governor of New South Wales – who enjoyed a night of mixing and mingling with our film making students, encouraging them and complimenting their work. It was a very successful and heartwarming night – one we won’t forget!
